Rising Scholars
RU Rising Scholars is an academic program that brings together a cohort of undergraduate sophomores and juniors who have demonstrated academic excellence and are committed to pursuing competitive merit-based fellowship opportunities. Badge recipients have participated in Rising Scholars events, Office of Distinguished Fellowships events, and other fellowships related events, and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of fellowships and the fellowship application process.

Earning Criteria
Required
Student attends either the Rising Scholars launch event in the spring or another Rising Scholars event.
Student attends two additional events that are either Rising Scholars or fellowships related.
Student completes the Rising Scholars Canvas course and exit survey.
