Aresty RURJ Peer Reviewer Program
The year-long Peer Reviewer Program is an opportunity for undergraduates to apply their research experience and knowledge by learning about the peer review and publication process. The two-semester program will meet for 55 minutes once a week. In the fall semester, you will learn about the peer review process and practice peer-reviewing research manuscripts. In the spring semester, you will implement what you learned, and review manuscripts submitted for publication for our Aresty RURJ journal. Upon completion of the entire program, students will be credited as undergraduate research journal peer reviewers on the most recent issue of the journal. This is a unique opportunity that serves to expose undergraduates to a side of research that undergraduates typically do not have access to! The program is managed by the Aresty Research Center for Undergraduates. The courses are facilitated by advanced undergraduate Peer Instructors with the support of Rutgers Alexander Library Staff and Publication Leaders.
